a trail into the heavens
Roaring Ridge starts off in the trees and works its way upward into a route that feels more and more like a true mountain run as the day goes on. The drive mixes gravel, dirt, and light technical sections with enough variation to stay interesting, but the real payoff is the elevation, the ridgeline feel, and the views once the trail opens up. Between the forested climb, the old lookout-site destination, and the scenery over Lost Lake and the surrounding peaks, this is the kind of trail day that feels like a proper outing rather than just another road to nowhere. It is a great fit for drivers who want mountain scenery, a little bit of challenge, and a route that actually feels worth the time.
Pricing / What Your Ticket Covers
Your ticket price covers more than just a place on the trail. It reflects the planning, coordination, leadership, spotting, pacing, and overall support that go into a well-run GrandX trail day. Easier scenic routes are priced lower, while more technical trails are priced higher based on the added complexity and support involved.
