Dates

Lonesome Lake Winter Runs are GrandX snow days in the mountains above Greenwater, Washington: a convoy up snowy forest roads in search of a frozen lake, and a campfire to finish the day.

Three dates this winter: Saturday, November 21, Saturday, December 19 and Saturday, January 16. Each is its own run, so book the date that suits you.

Search for the Frozen Lake

Last winter this started as an open-invite snow run and turned into a sixteen-rig meetup. The mission was simple: work our way up the snow-covered forest roads, explore a few side roads along the way, and find Lonesome Lake tucked up in the mountains, hopefully frozen solid.

It's the kind of day that reminds you why we wheel in the Pacific Northwest: fresh snow in the trees, a convoy of capable rigs, and good people around you. We wrap it up the best way we know, with a campfire, good conversation and a line of rigs parked in the snow.

Snow changes from week to week, so no two runs are the same. We choose the line on the day based on conditions.
